“ First time here and will definitely go back. We had a very tasty hot roast beef toastie each with 2pots of tea. The staff were very friendly especially the new owner, Jean. The cakes and scones looked lovely. ”
“ Stumbled across this place by chance. I'm a big fan of family run cafe's and bakeries, so of course I had to sit down for a tea. They serve a large selection of scones, cakes, and other pastries, and they also have plenty of warm and cold drinks to choose from. The interior is very quaint, and somewhat reminiscent of a grandmother's kitchen with a somewhat modern twist. The staff is very polite, and you get your order quickly. The food and tea was delicious, and all at a very reasonable price. Would recommend! ”

“ Been here twice now, nice food, good service, good prices, seems very popular with locals and visitors. Different from other cafes who have chips on the menu. T 4 2 don’t, which makes it a cleaner place to sit in as no smell of chip grease. Portions are just right. Nice selection of cakes & scones, then there’s the cheesecakes. Who doesn’t love some cheesecake. Todays was Chocolate Orange which was divine. Will be back when next in Galashiels ”
